Trigger Help

Trigger does nothing when activated

  1. Make sure you are not recording or previewing a scene. Inputs are disabled during recording and for a short time afterward; the REC LED may flash yellow.
  2. Check whether Post Delay is active for that scene. While active, triggers are ignored and the REC LED flashes yellow.
  3. Verify the input wiring and that the sensor is actually changing state. See Input Wiring.
  4. In configuration, confirm the input is enabled for that scene and not inverted unexpectedly.
  5. If Pressure Lockout is enabled, the device may be waiting for adequate air pressure before it will run.

False or random triggers

  1. Keep trigger wires as short as possible. Long wires can pick up noise from nearby relays, solenoids, and motors.
  2. Increase Minimum On Time in the input configuration to filter very short pulses.
  3. Power noisy input banks from a separate supply when possible so noise does not feed back through the controller power. See Input Wiring.
